Four. Free costs nothing, for as long as you use it. Starter is $7 a month, Standard $11 and Premium $20, or $72, $120 and $192 a year. The table above lists what each one includes.

There's no trial, and Free needs no card. It has no time limit: up to 10 holdings with live prices, performance, manual entry, CSV import and one connected wallet. Move to a paid plan when you want more.

Yes. From Free, choose a plan in Account → Plan and billing. On a paid plan, pick another plan there; you see what it costs before you confirm. A higher plan starts right away and is charged now, for the difference over the rest of the current period. A lower plan, or a move from yearly to monthly billing, starts when the current period ends; until then you keep the plan you paid for.

Yes. A year of Starter is $72 ($6 a month), Standard $120 ($10 a month) and Premium $192 ($16 a month): up to 20% less than paying monthly. It's charged once a year.

Yearly billing is the discount: up to 20% off. Checkout also takes promotion codes when we run an offer.

Any time, from Account → Plan and billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then you're on Free with your portfolio intact. Connected wallets keep syncing once a day; brokerage and exchange sync pauses until you're on a paid plan again.

Payments aren't refundable and we don't credit partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise. The one exception is moving to a higher plan, where the unused part of your current plan counts toward the new one. If you cancel or move to a lower plan, you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

US dollars, through Stripe, which shows the payment methods it accepts at checkout. Your portfolio can show in any of 30 currencies (Account → Language and currency); that changes what you see, not what you pay.

Plus is now Starter and Pro is now Standard, at the same prices. Subscribers move to the new limits, and nothing already connected is removed: if you have more connected accounts than your plan now includes, they all keep syncing, and you can add another once you're under the limit. Starter keeps manual alerts; AI alerts are part of Standard and Premium.

Each different asset you hold, counted once across all your accounts: Bitcoin in two wallets and an exchange is one holding. Cash balances, positions we don't recognize yet and assets you've sold down to zero don't count.

Nothing is hidden or removed. Every connected account keeps syncing and everything you hold counts in your net worth. On Free (10 holdings) and Starter (30), once you're at the limit, adding a new asset by hand, by CSV import or from an AI tool, and connecting another account, wait until you upgrade or hold fewer assets. Adding more of an asset you already hold always works. Standard includes up to 100 holdings and Premium has no limit.

Each wallet address and each brokerage or exchange login. Free includes 1 wallet, Starter 3 accounts, Standard 5 and Premium 10. A login that holds several brokerage accounts counts once, and positions you add by hand or import from a CSV don't count. On paid plans you can add more for $1 a month each ($12 a year on yearly billing), prorated.

Premium includes up to 3 portfolios, each with its own name and connected accounts, and you can switch between them. Other plans have one portfolio.

On paid plans, US brokerages and crypto exchanges connect through Plaid, read-only and for investment accounts only. Which ones you can pick depends on Plaid's coverage: search for yours in Plaid's window. For anything else, import a CSV export. Wallets connect by public address on 56 networks, on every plan.

No. Sonar is read-only. It never asks for trading or withdrawal permissions, and brokerages and exchanges connect through Plaid, which gives it no way to trade or move money.

Sonar is read-only. You sign in to brokerages and exchanges on Plaid's screens, so we never see those passwords, and the access token Plaid gives us is stored encrypted. Connecting one needs two-step verification on your account. Wallets are read by public address only. You can delete your account and its data at any time under Account.

The ones you hold. Social data covers the assets in your portfolio; add a position and its data appears. Onchain data, alerts, the API and the AI connector follow the same rule.

Prices, social and onchain data come from market and blockchain data providers, listed on our privacy page. When data is late or missing, the app says so.

No. Sonar tracks what you hold and how it's doing; it doesn't produce tax reports. You can export your transactions to a CSV file for your own records or tax software.

No. It shows what is happening to what you own. What to do about it is your call.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own scripts with a personal key. Ask about what you hold, or add a position by chatting. Starter includes market and social data for your holdings; Standard and Premium add the portfolio itself: holdings, P&L and allocation. Connectors can't trade or move funds.

Starter includes 500 AI connector, API and CLI requests a day, Standard 1,000 and Premium 2,000. Every account, Free included, starts with 100 API credits (one request each, given once), and anyone can buy more from $5 to $500 at $1 per 1,000. Credits never expire and are used once the day's included requests run out.
